IBPS PO 2023 recruitment notification is now out featuring 3049 vacancies. Below mentioned is the complete application process.

IBPS PO Apply Online – Prerequisites

The IBPS PO 2023 online application starts today that is 1st August 2023. So, we would advise the candidates to complete the online registartion formalites and don't wait for the last date. Candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. All communication/ call letters/ advice from the bank by email/SMS will be done on that number. Mentioned below are the details for IBPS PO 2023 apply online.

  • Visit the official website the www.ibps.in or Click Here
  • Click on the option names as ‘Click here for new registration'
  • Provide your essential information such as your mobile number, email address, birth date and name
  • After you have provided all your necessary details, you will be sent a provisional password and registration number on your email and phone number
  • If needed, you can log in with the provisional registration number and password if you want to edit any detail
  • Provide your academic and personal details
  • Upload scanned copies of your handwritten declaration, left thumb impression, signature, and photographs
  • Submit your payment for the IBPS PO application fees and put in your application
  • Lastly, make sure that you get a printout of the IBPS PO application form for future use and reference.

Guidelines for Photograph and Signature

The guidelines for uploading the photograph and signature are given below.

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with a black ink pen
  • Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels
  • The size of the file should be between 10 kb to 20 kb
The preferred dimension should be 200 x 230 pixels 

Left thumb impression

  • The file should be in jpg/jpeg
  • The dimension should be 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI
  • The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
  • The file size should be 20 kb to 50 kb
The size of the file should be between 20 kb to 50 kb 

Handwritten declaration

  • The handwritten declaration should be written on white paper with black ink.
  • The file should be in jpg/jpeg
  • The dimension should be in 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI
  • The file size should be 50 kb to 100 kb

Once you have successfully applied for the IBPS PO exam, you must wait for the admit card/hall ticket to be released. Candidates can download the admit cards/hall tickets 10 days prior to the scheduled exam date.

What are IBPS PO 2022 Exam dates? −

The IBPS PO 2022 recruitment notification is not released yet. We will update the same once the actual notification gets out. According to it, the Probationary Officers exams for PSBs were slated to be conducted on October 9, 10, 16, and 17, 2021, and the Main Exam was scheduled to be conducted on November 27, 2021.

What is the selection procedure for IBPS PO? +

The IBPS PO selection is done in three stages: Prelims, Mains, and interviews. The candidates who will clear each stage will become eligible to be appointed as IBPS POs.

I am a graduate with less than 60% marks. Can I Apply for IBPS PO 2021 Exam? +

Yes, all graduates are applicable to apply for the IBPS PO exam. There is no required percentage to apply for IBPS PO.

Is there any negative marking for IBPS PO? +

Yes, there is a negative marking for every wrong answer given in the exam. 0.25 of the total marks allotted for that question will be deducted for marking a wrong answer.

The number of vacancies are announced in the notification. The last year’s vacancies for the IBPO PO 2020-21 were 3517.

Can an Engineering graduate apply for IBPS PO Exam? +

Yes, any candidate having a graduation degree can apply for the IBPS PO exam.

Is the IBPS PO exam Bilingual? +

All tests are bilingual, i.e., available in both English and Hindi.

When IBPS PO 2022 admit card will be released? +

IBPS PO admit card is released separately for prelims, mains, and interviews. The admit card is released 1 week before the exam. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of IBPS by logging with registration number/roll number/date of birth/password.

Is there any age bar to apply for IBPS PO? +

Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years to apply for the IBPS PO exam. Age relaxation of five, three, and ten years is given to SC/ ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and PwD candidates, respectively.
