For eg. some aspirants are not comfortable with permutation & combination questions.
Start Practising
Pick a topic from a section and start solving questions. Solve at least 100 such questions.
Check your mistakes and correct them. Do extra practice for those topics in which you are not that comfortable. Make a note of the incorrectly answered questions and revisit those concepts. Ensure that you don't repeat the same mistakes in the actual exam.
Continue Practising for all the Sections
Repeat steps 2 & 3 for all the topics of all the sections before moving to the next step. It is important that you strive to practice all the topics. Remember: it's not at all about easy & difficult topics. There can be easy questions asked from difficult topics. You need to identify those and answer them correctly in the actual exam. And to attain this skill, you need to practise a lot.
Time Your Attempts
Now that you have practised a lot of questions from different topics of different sections, it's time to time your attempts. Remember: Time and accuracy are the only factors which can set you apart from other aspirants. Try to answer questions in a pressurised environment by solving Topic Tests, Sectional Tests, Mini Mocks. This will help you get an idea of answering questions within time limits.
Start solving IBPS PO Mock Tests
Start solving mock tests and review your attempts. Check your mistakes and correct those. Keep reviewing your All India Rank as well. Since the mock tests are very closely simulated to the actual exam, your performance in mock tests will be a true representation of that in the actual exam.
Keep Improving
Make a list of your weak areas and put more focus and effort towards solving questions from those topics. Remember: ‘The more sweat you shed in training, the less blood you'll shed in battle.' Similarly, the more practice you do with mocks, the less marks you lose in the actual exam. So, keep practising, analysing and improving.
Use Rank Boosters for Those Extra Marks
Finally, attempt Rank Boosters to improve your overall score. Rank boosters exams are previous year papers in a pressurised environment and will greatly help you assess your performance and improve it.
Remember: any exam is a combination of easy, moderate and difficult questions. When you solve a lot of questions, you start identifying easy and moderate questions from the difficult ones. You should solve the easy questions first and secure their marks. Then, move to the moderate questions and, only if time permits, start solving the difficult questions. Implementing the above strategy will definitely help you score more and eventually clear the exam.
