UPSSSC PET Selection Process 2024
PET exam is a screening test that qualifies the candidates to appear for the main exams of different posts. PET exam is conducted in offline mode with an OMR sheet. The exam consists of 100 objective type questions with multiple choice options. Each question carries one mark and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. The questions are based on 15 subjects, including General Studies, General Hindi, General English, Elementary Mathematics, Reasoning, and Analysis. The standard of the questions is based on the NCERT books of 10th and 12th class. The candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in the PET exam are eligible to apply for the main exams of various Group C posts as per their preference and eligibility. The main exams may consist of written tests, skill tests, physical tests, or interviews depending on the nature of the post. The final selection is based on the performance of the candidates in the main exams and document verification.

UPSSSC PET 2024 Exam Pattern
- The exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions
- A total of 100 such questions will be asked.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
- Wrong answers will result in a negative marking of 1/4th mark.
- The difficulty of questions for topics from S. No. 1 to 9 will be as per NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.
