Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) conducts the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) for various Group C posts in the state government. PET is a qualifying exam that screens candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process. The salary details of the Group C posts vary depending on the post, grade pay and level of pay matrix. However, the approximate salary range for most of the Group C posts is between Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 69,000 per month. UPSSSC PET question paper has a total of 100 objective type multiple choice questions. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and there is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect response.
