SBI PO Exam Pattern 2026
The SBI PO Exam has three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Phase III, which includes a psychometric test, group exercise, and interview. The Prelims serves as a qualifying stage, while marks obtained in the Mains and Phase III are considered for final selection. Negative marking applies to incorrect answers in the objective tests.

SBI PO Descriptive Test Pattern
The descriptive test carries 30 marks and has a duration of 30 minutes.
Candidates will attempt three communication-based tasks:
- One email from two options
- One situation-analysis question from two options
- Either report writing or précis writing
The complete Main Examination carries 230 marks and lasts 3 hours 30 minutes.
