AFCAT 2023 Notification
Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the notification for AFCAT 2023. AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the IAF to recruit Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. The online application process for AFCAT 2 2023 has started on 01st June 2023 and will end on 30th June 2023. The exam will be conducted on 25th, 26th and 27th August 2023. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in all the stages of the selection process. Below are all the details related to this exam:

AFCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2004(both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2004 (both dates inclusive).
- Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2004 (both dates inclusive)

AFSB Interview
Candidates clearing above exam will receive call letters for AFSB Interview round for which selected candidates will be called at one of the Air Force Selection Board. This round is a 5 day process in which a candidates has to perform various kinds of intellectual and mental tasks. Interview will take place on the last day.
Candidates who have applied for NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Branch will be directly called for AFSB testing at one of the AFSB centers.
Physical Fitness: Candidates are advised to be physically fit and healthy in order to undergo different tests at AFSB. Candidates should aim to achieve an ability to run 01 miles (1.6 km) in 10 minutes, 10 push-ups and 3 chin ups
