The selection process for the posts of IBPS RRB Office Assistant is different from that of the selection process of officers in RRB. For IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2025, the exam will be conducted in two phases:
No interview process is conducted for selecting candidates for the post of Office Assistant. Selection is made only on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score.

There are just two sections in the IBPS RRB Clerk prelims exam and these are reasoning ability and numerical ability.
The in-hand salary of an IBPS RRB Clerk varies between Rs 34,000/- to Rs 35,000/- per month.
The IBPS RRB Clerk exam is conducted to appoint Office Assistant (Multipurpose) to the various Regional Rural Banks of the country.
