When filling out the Delhi Police Constable application form, candidates must have the following documents ready for uploading and for reference during the online application process:
- Scanned Photograph: A recent passport-size photograph in the specified format and size.

Delhi Police Constable Application Form Fees
The application fees are an important part of the process. However, it is not applicable on all candidates. The fee will be accepted through online mode on the official Staff Selection Commission (SSC) website using a secure payment gateway. Delhi Police Constable Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants who want to join the Delhi Police force and want to appear in this recruitment must check their eligibility. The Staff Selection Commission has set specific requirements for age, education, and physical standards that every candidate must fulfill to be considered for the position. Below. 1. Nationality/Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit: The age limit is from 18 to 25 years as of July 1, 2025. This means candidates should not have been born earlier than July 2, 2000, and no later than July 1, 2007. 3. Educational Qualification: The required educational qualification is a 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized board, as of the closing date of the application, which is October 21, 2025.
- Relaxations: The educational qualification is relaxable up to 11th pass for:
- Sons and daughters of serving, retired, or deceased Delhi Police personnel/MTS.
- Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, and dispatch riders of Delhi Police.
4. Driving License: Male candidates must have a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license for a motorcycle or car as of the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). A learner's license is not acceptable.
Delhi Police Constable Selection Process
The selection process for the Delhi Police Constable exam consists of three stages: computer-based test, physical endurance and measurement test, and a medical examination. These stages are designed to check candidates' ability for the post. Qualifying for each stage is very important to get selected for the constable posts. - Computer-Based Examination (CBE): This is an online written test.
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): This stage is qualifying in nature and includes physical standards and endurance tests.

Delhi Police Constable Exam Pattern
Candidates whose application gets accepted will first have to appear for the computer-based examination (first stage of the selection process). The exam is conducted online with a total of 100 questions for 100 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT)
Second stage of the selection process is Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT). In this process, candidates who pass the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) are eligible. It will be conducted by Delhi Police only at venues in Delhi. This stage is qualifying in nature (no marks are awarded), but it is mandatory to get selected. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) for Male Candidates
The Physical Endurance Test (PET) for male candidates, including ex-servicemen and departmental candidates, is conducted as per the age-wise standards given below:

Delhi Police Constable Salary
Delhi Police Constable salary is based on Pay Level 3 under the 7th Central Pay Commission. As per the notification, the salary ranges from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month. Along with this, constables provided some government allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA). These allowances increase the gross monthly salary to around ₹42,000 to ₹47,000. Apart from salary, they are also provided with some other benefits such as job security, pension benefits, paid leave, medical facilities, and more.
