The BSSC Inter Level Exam isn't just an exam, it's a four-stage journey that includes the Prelims, Mains, Document Verification, and a Skill Test. It all kicks off with the Preliminary Exam, which will be held for every candidate who successfully registers for the 2025 recruitment.
Mark your calendars—the Prelims are set to take place over four days, starting 10th July 2025. That leaves you with just about three months to get everything in place.
This is the time to ditch the random cramming and start preparing smartly. Create a revision plan that works for you, stick to a schedule, and focus on building both speed and accuracy. With the right strategy and consistent effort, clearing each stage gets a whole lot easier.
The BSSC Inter Level 2025 Prelims will be a computer based exam. There will be 150 objective multiple-choice questions, and the total marks will be 600. You'll get 4 marks for each correct answer, but 1 mark will be cut for every wrong one.

Getting selected for the BSSC Inter Level post isn't just about clearing one exam—it's a step-by-step process designed to find the most capable candidates. Here's how it works:
1. Preliminary Exam
This is the starting point for everyone who registers successfully. The Prelims is an objective-style test made up of multiple-choice questions. Think of it as the screening round to filter out the best-fit candidates for the next level.
2. Mains Exam
If you make it to the merit list after the Prelims, you'll be among the top candidates—five times the number of total vacancies—invited to take the Mains. This stage includes two papers that test your knowledge in:

Crack the Mains? Great! Next comes document verification, where you'll need to show original certificates and other required documents for validation.
4. Skill Test (if applicable)
Some posts require specific skills. If your chosen post falls into that category, you'll be asked to appear for a skill test tailored to that role.
Final Selection
Your final result depends on your overall performance—especially your Mains exam score. Do well there, and you're well on your way to securing a spot under the Bihar Government.
On submission of your mock test, your score and All-India rank would be immediately generated. The All India ranking is dynamic in nature and it would change as more users attempt that mock test.
A test can be attempted only once. However, you can review the solutions and analysis of the attempted tests as many times as you want.
If you get disconnected while attempting a test, all your data till the disconnection will get saved and you will be able to resume from the same state later. You are advised to close the test window in this case and resume when you have connectivity again.
Tests are provided either in English or in both English and Hindi. For a particular test, you may check the languages it is available in while purchasing the package.
